During middle school a friend and i made a boardgame inspired by the ancient Olympics for a history fair at school. it was a short competitive boardgame similar to the classic Goose boardgame with random events happening on specific tiles. All of the events and art where based on the depictions of the ancient event. The pawns depicted athletes from each of the original Competitions and i can still remember after all these years is that the chariot pawn won almost every game we played even though it was identical to all the others.

This was my first time I making a game of any kind and it was so much fun to work on that it was probably one of main factors that set me on the path of becoming a game designer.
